Nottingham’s public transport system is a good thing for lots of reasons.
It’s good for the environment, often cheaper to use than a car, and it leaves you free to think your thoughts, read the paper, or tap away on your phone.
But there’s a flipside – the bunch of noisy school kids blaring out what they think passes for music and shouting so loud it constitutes a breach of the peace. And the young man behind you having a phone conversation with his girlfriend so explicit it would have made Bernard Manning blush.
